State Compensation Insurance Fund is looking for our next Senior Vice President of Claims Medical Regulatory Division (SVP of CMRD).

Under the direction of the Executive Vice President of Corporate Claims, the SVP of CMRD will lead and provide program oversight of the Claims Medical Regulatory Division and serve as the Claims Operations Subject Matter Expert, using innovation, technology and industry expertise to deliver outstanding claims outcomes and achieve business goals.
The SVP of CMRD will be responsible for:

Location: This is a Statewide recruitment and may be headquartered in any State Fund office. Those offices include Bakersfield, Eureka, Fresno, Glendale, Pasadena, Pleasanton, Redding, Rohnert Park, Sacramento, San Diego, Stockton, or Vacaville.
Travel: Travel to various work sites and locations for training and/or meetings will be required.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract.
