Supervising sound editor
Supervising sound editing is the creative and organisational leadership of a production's entire sound team. At AudioRally Sounddesign, a Netherlands-based audio post-production studio led by Aline Bruijns, we supervise sound for film, television, documentary and immersive projects.
As a supervising sound editor we are the department liaison between director, picture editorial and the sound team. We define the creative sound direction, plan the workflow and coordinate editors, foley and re-recording mix so the soundtrack stays consistent, high in quality and true to the director's vision from first spotting session to final mix. Aline Bruijns is an international member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) and board member of the Dutch Film Sound Association (DFSA).
By overseeing every layer of the sound effects work — and assembling the right crew for each project through an established professional network — we ensure a unified, impactful result and a smooth, dependable path through post-production.
